SNADS chose Lady Windermere’s Fan by Oscar Wilde for
their October 2008 production - the first major play in their new home
The Exchange. Any Oscar Wilde play provides a cast with an immense
challenge. The dialogue may be over 100 years old but its rhythm and
relevance is as sharp today as when Wilde first wrote it. Perhaps not
so well known as The Importance of Being Earnest, it is still full of
sharp wit. Val Atkinson directed her cast well and it
was good to see some members of SNADS Youth taking part.
